13. Account & Data Deletion

If you have created an account within any of our Apps, you have the right to request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. Account deletion is irreversible.

How to Delete Your Account

You can request account deletion through any of the following methods:

Option 1: In-App Deletion

Navigate to SettingsAccount Delete Account within the App (where available). Follow the on-screen confirmation prompts to complete the deletion.

Option 2: Email Request (Web-based)

Send a deletion request to contact@eversources.app with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Please include:

  • The name of the App
  • The email address or username associated with your account

This method is available even if you have uninstalled the App.

What Gets Permanently Deleted

Upon processing your deletion request, we will permanently delete:

  • Your account credentials (email, username, password hash)
  • Profile information and preferences
  • All user-generated content (posts, comments, saved data, game progress)
  • Your data from our active databases and backup systems
  • Your data from third-party services we control (e.g., Firebase), where technically feasible

Timeline

  • Deletion requests are processed within 30 days of receipt and identity verification.
  • You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been fully deleted.

Data That May Be Retained

In limited cases, certain data may be retained even after account deletion:

  • Data required by law for tax, legal, or regulatory compliance
  • Data necessary for fraud prevention or security investigations
  • Anonymized or aggregated data that can no longer identify you

Any retained data will be the minimum necessary and will be securely deleted once the retention purpose expires.

Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel active subscriptions or entitle you to refunds for in-app purchases. Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google. Please cancel subscriptions through:

  • iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
  • Android: Google Play Store > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions

⚠ Warning: Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All data, progress, achievements, and purchased content tied to your account will be lost forever. Please cancel any active subscriptions and export any data you wish to keep before requesting deletion.

14. Advertising

Some of our Apps display advertisements provided by third-party ad networks, including Google AdMob. These networks may use device identifiers and similar technologies to serve ads. Personalized ads are only shown with your consent.

Opting Out of Personalized Advertising

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time:

  • iOS (App Tracking Transparency): When prompted by the ATT dialog, select "Ask App Not to Track." You can also manage this globally via Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking > disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track."
  • Android: Settings > Google > Ads > select "Delete advertising ID" or enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization."

Even after opting out, you may still see non-personalized (contextual) advertisements in our Apps.

15. In-App Purchases

Some of our Apps offer in-app purchases and subscriptions processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not directly collect or store any payment card numbers, bank account details, or other financial information. All payment transactions are handled entirely by Apple or Google.

Purchase history associated with your platform account (Apple ID / Google Account) is governed by the respective platform's privacy policy. We may receive confirmation of completed purchases (e.g., purchase token, product ID) to unlock features within the App, but we do not receive your financial details.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. When we make material changes:

  • We will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
  • For significant changes, we will provide notice through our Apps or via email (where available)
  • We will obtain fresh consent where required by applicable law
